Journey description
Greifswald has been an internationally recognised centre of plasma research for almost 100 years.
In addition to the Institute of Physics at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University Greifswald, the INP is present as a Leibniz Institute and the IPP, as a Max-Planck-Institute. The three plasma research institutes have a combined workforce of around 600 employees, currently.
It is the task of INP to promote plasma research and technology.
