Electron Paramagnetic Resonance Spectroscopy
Radicals are paramagnetic, therefore, they are detectable by electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy (EPR).
The ZIK plasmatis uses different flow cytometers for daily measurements. There is proven experience in designing and compensating multicolor panels of 12-13 channels, both on the analyzers and on the cell sorter.
Mass Spectrometry (MS)
The ZIK plasmatis has four mass spectrometry (MS) systems available for various applications. All systems are set upped in classical fashion using a liquid chromatography (LC) system to provide sample separation (LC-MS).
The ZIK plasmatis utilizes a MoFlo AstriosEQ (Beckman-Coulter) for cell sorting. The device houses 7 excitation lasers of different wavelengths (true 355nm UV laser, 405nm, 488nm, 532nm, 561nm, 592nm, 640nm diode laser).
An Operetta CLS (PerkinElmer) high-content imaging device is available at ZIK plasmatis. These types of devices are fully housed microscopes without oculars being primarily used in the pharmaceutical industry for screening campaigns of large compound libraries.
